Suggested Packages

We can customize any type of package for you. If you are going to several different places, it's usually cheaper to get a TAM Airlines airpass (from about $530, depending on the number of flights and your international carrier) for the domestic flights . Below are some sample packages with land only prices (no flights included), made by adding together suggested packages from various areas. These can be modified to suit your needs. For instance, if you prefer to use a different jungle or Pantanal lodge, we can switch. Since the various lodges have different costs, this will affect the package cost. Or we can add other places such as Brasilia, Bonito, Recife, Natal, etc. Just let us know what you want to do.

Prices are subject to change because it is hard to keep up with the currency fluctuations.

We can get discounted air quotes for passengers departing from the U.S., but for others, it's normally cheaper if you buy your air tickets locally.

Old Rio - This tour begins at the historical center of Rio de Janeiro. The architectural assemblage of Praça XV, Teles' Arch, France-Brasil House (old Royal Customhouse), the Benedictine Monastery and the Lapa Arches are samples of the Brazilian colonial architecture - up to the 18th century. From the Brazilian imperial times - 19th century - the samples are the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center, the Municipal Theater, the Fine Arts Museum and the Public Library. Next we visit Sta.Teresa, a traditional district with a mild climate and big houses from the beginning of the century, built mainly by English railroad managers. In our days, it became an art center with lots of craftsmanship galleries and the only district in Rio where we can find the trolley car.

Day 4 - breakfast, then free day till transfer to Paraty and to your selected hotel. Afternoon city tour. Different from other Brazilian colonial cities, the Paraty architecture has character, originality and definition forming a harmonious architectural set of the XVIII century. Paraty today is a Historic National Monument and Historic Patrimony worldwide declared by UNESCO, and much more, natural patrimony for 65% of the area of the town is inside the National Park of Serra da Bocaina. This guided tour through the old part of town tells you all about its history and legends. Perfect tour for filming and photography.

Traditional tour with different routes for each day of week, it has four stops with about 40 minutes in each place, being one of them for lunch (la carte) aboard (optional). At these stops it is possible to dive with mask and snorkel for this we can do in clear and warm water. Among these 4 stops we have one that has become essential, due to tourist wishes, the Ilha Comprida which is known as a natural aquarium of fishes, which surround the boat and the people dive in, it is perfect to take pictures. All the boats offer security and comfort; beyond that, they have a good restaurant with option of fish or chicken, to make your tour more enjoyable. The tour includes tropical fruits, mask and snorkel. As with all of our other tours they come highly recommended by the "Lonely Planet" Guide to Brazil.
